- In the Mainichi Hai, he won his first grade race.
- In the Satsuki Sho, he was 9th favorite.
He broke away in the home stretch and won by a neck over Persian Knight.
It was his first G1 win.

It was the first time for his jockey, Kohei Matsuyama, to win a JRA G1 race. - He was 5th in the Tokyo Yushun and 7th in the Kikuka Sho.
