- He belonged to the Ohi Racecourse of the NAR Minami Kanto Koei Keiba.
He had done reasonably well, finishing 3rd in the Japan Dirt Derby and JBC Classic. - He moved to JRA from the April race in 2007.
- In the Teio Sho (2007), he was 5th favorite.
Blue Concorde was by far the most favorite.
Bonneville Record passed Blue Concorde in the home stretch and won by 1+1/2 lengths.
It was his first G1 win. - In the Kashiwa Kinen (2008), he was 3rd favorite.
He took the lead 100m before the finish line and won by 1 length. - In the Teio Sho (2008), he was 3rd favorite.
He lost to Furioso and finished 2nd. - In 2010, he moved back to NAR’s Ohi Racecourse to continue his career.
- After the Tokyo Daishoten in 2012, he retired.
His retirement ceremony was held jointly with that of Furioso. - He did not have a remarkable career, but he and his main jockey, Fumio Matoba, were very popular.
Fumio Matoba is NAR’s leading jockey in the South Kanto region, and in 2018 he broke NAR’s all-time record for most wins.
He is a legendary jockey who also holds the record for the oldest rider in JRA history and was awarded the Medal with Yellow Ribbon by the government in 2020.
(As of June 2021, he is the only jockey in both JRA and NAR to have received the Medal of Honors.)
