- In 2004 (age 3), Company debuted.
He has a strong impression that he was slow to mature.
But he was immediately promoted to the top rank.
From July 2004 to he retired, he ran only in grade-races. - In 2005 (age 4), he won the Keihan Hai.
It was his first G3 win. - In 2006 (age 5), he won the Sankei Osaka Hai.
It was his first G2 win.
He ran three G1 races but didn’t get good results in this year. - In 2007 (age 6), he won the Sekiya Kinen.
He finished in 3rd place in the Tenno Sho (Autumn) (G1). - In the Mile Championship (2007), he was 3rd favorite.
But he lost to Daiwa Major and finished in 5th place. - In 2008 (age 7), he won the Nakayama Kinen and the Yomiuri Milers Cup.
He finished in 4th place in the Tenno Sho (Autumn) and the Mile Championship. - In 2009 (age 8), he won the Nakayama Kinen defeating Dream Journey.
- In the Mainichi Okan, he was 4th favorite.
Vodka was by far the most favorite.
Vodka was good to start and was a front runner.
Halfway through the home stretch, people thought Vodka showed a perfect game.
However Company followed Vodka and finally overtook her.
It was his third run with vodka, and he won the first time. - In the Tenno Sho (Autumn) (2009), he was 5th favorite.
He took the lead 200m before the finish-line and won by 1+3/4 lengths.
It was the first time in history that an 8-year-old horse won the first-G1-race.
(To begin with, no horse has ever won a G1 race as an 8-year-old before.) - Before the Mile Championship, his connections announced his retirement after the race.
He became 1st favorite in a G1 race for the first time in his life.
