In the Sankei Sports Hai Hanshin Himba Stakes, she was 1st favorite.
She took the lead in the home stretch and won.
It was her first grade-race win.
Then, her connections targeted a sprint G1 race instead of a mile G1 race such as Victoria Mile.
She won two G2 races, the Hakodate Sprint Stakes and the Keeneland Cup.
She headed to Sprinters Stakes.
In the Sprinters Stakes (2011), she was 3rd favorite.
Rocket Man (SGP) was by far the most favorite.
Curren Chan took the lead 200m before the finish-line.
She won by 1+3/4 lengths.
It was her first G1 win.
In the Takamatsunomiya Kinen, she was 2nd favorite.
Her stablemate, Lord Kanaloa, a junior colt of the same stable, was 1st most favorite.
She took the lead early and won.
In the Sprinters Stakes (2012), she lost to Lord Kanaloa.

Episode

According to the stables staff, Lord Kanaloa was in love with Curren Chan.
The stables staff treated the two horses carefully because Lord Kanaloa could go into heat when they were together.
By the way, Curren Chan didn’t seem to have much interest in Lord Kanaloa.
As of 2020, since she became a bred-mare, one foal has been born with her and Lord Kanaloa.
The foal’s name is Curren Moe, and she plays an active role including finishing second in a G3 race.
