- In the Kyodo Tsushin Hai, he was the 3rd favorite.
Admire Mars, the 2-year-old champion, led the pack of horses at the front.
Danon Kingly passed Admire Mars to take the lead with 200 meters to go.
He won by 1+1/4 lengths.
He was the first to defeat Admire Mars, which had won four straight. - In the Satsuki Sho, he was the 3rd favorite.
He raced Saturnalia and Velox in the homestretch but came up just short, finishing 3rd. - In the Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby), he was the 3rd favorite.

He won by defeating such talented old horses as Aerolithe, Indy Champ and Persian Knight. - He earned the right to run in the Tenno Sho (Autumn 2019), but instead of running in the Tenno Sho (Autumn), he headed for the Mile Championship.
However, he was beaten by Indy Champ and finished 5th. - In the Osaka Hai, he was the 1st favorite.
Surprisingly, he took the lead right from the start.
He ran tenaciously but was beaten by Lucky Lilac to finish 3rd. - In the Tenno Sho (Autumn 2020), he was the 3rd favorite.
He did not have a good showing at all and finished 12th in last place.
His connections decided he was in a serious slump and decided to give him an extended rest.
The cause of his slump is unclear, but some horse racing connoisseurs claim that it was due to the fact that his connections did not clearly decide whether his racing distance of choice was a mile or 2,000 meters, and that his racing tactics had changed. - In the Yasuda Kinen (2021), he was the 8th favorite.

- The pedigree of a horse whose sire, Deep Impact, and dam-sire, Storm Cat (or Storm Cat line stallion), are now well-known in Japanese horse racing industry.
It will be interesting to see if he can make a success as a stallion with his common pedigree. - His half-brother is Danon Legend.
Danon Legend is a reasonably popular stallion for dirt racing.
