JBC Sprint (G1) 1 1
  • In the Capella Stakes, Danon Legend ran like no other horse in his class and won by 5 lengths.
He finally won a grade race at the end of his five-year-old season.
  • He went on to win several G3 and G2 races and became a mainstay in dirt sprint racing.
  • In the JBC Sprint (2015), he was by far the most favorite.
He was unable to catch up with Corin Berry in the lead and finished 2nd.
  • In 2016, he ran in the same races he did in 2015 as there was not much variety in dirt sprint grade races.
  • In the JBC Sprint (2016), he was the 3rd favorite.
He got off to a good start from the innermost gate and led the pack.
The other horses could not close the gap with him, they just followed him.
    He won by 3 lengths.
  • He retired and became a stallion.
He is a half-brother to the winner of the 2021 Yasuda Kinen, Danon Kingly, so there are some expectations for him.
He is also expected to be a valuable Himyar line sire.
