And she grew even more over the summer and autumn.
  • In the Shion Stakes, she was 1st favorite.
She won her first grade race.
  • In the Shuka Sho, she was 3rd favorite.
She came from behind in the home stretch.
She passed Lys Gracieux and Mozu Katchan to crossed finish line in 1st place.
It was her first G1 win.
  • In the Dubai Turf (2018), she was 7th favorite.
She finished in a tie for 3rd place with Real Steal.
  • She ran in the Queen Elizabeth II Cup in 2019.
At the time, Ascot’s connections told Diadora’s connections, “I’d like to see Harbinger’s crop in England,” and encouraged them to go to England.
She went to England and became active in Newmarket as a base.
  • In the Nassau Stakes (2019), she was 7th favorite.
She was the first Japanese horse to run in that race.
She ran on the inside and made good use of the open stretch to catch up.
She passed Mehdaayih in the lead and won by 1+1/4 lengths.
She broke the course record held by Ouija Board in 2006 by 1.5 seconds.
She became only the second Japanese horse to win a England G1 race since Agnes World in 2000.
  • After that, she continued her active career, mainly in England.
By the time she retired, she had raced in 7 countries and 12 foreign G1 races, both records for the most by a Japanese horse.
