  • 交流元年 / the First Year of Interaction
The movement of JRA and NAR to work together to manage the race has been seen since 1993.
Since 1995, the number of races, in which horses of different associations can run, has increased significantly.
Therefore, the year 1995 is called the First Year of Interaction. The symbols of it are such as Lively Mount, Raiden Leader and Hokuto Vega.
Lively Mount continued to win major races in NAR while belonging to JRA.
Raiden Leader ran in all three classic races for fillies in JRA while belonging to  NAR.
Hokuto Vega won the Empress Hai by about 18 lengths.
