  • In the Hyogo Championship, K T Brave was the 2nd favorite and Gold Dream was by far the most favorite.
K T Brave won his first grade race by 7 lengths over Gold Dream.
  • In the Japan Dirt Derby, he beat Gold Dream again but finished 2nd, 4 lengths behind Kyoei Gere.
  • In the Teio Sho (2017), he was the 6th favorite.
Until then he had been good at running in the lead or second position after good starts.
However, he stumbled at the start and ended up running in the back of the pack.
Even the jockey, Yuichi Fukunaga, thought, “It’s over.
But he had a great finishing kick in the homestretch, passing Awardee and Chrysolite to cross the finish line in 1st place.
It was his first G1 (Jpn1) win.
  • In the Kawasaki Kinen (2021), he was the 1st favorite.
He got off to a good start and took the lead.
He then ran to the finish line without giving up the lead.
  • In the JBC Classic (2018), he was the 3rd favorite.
He won by 3/4 lengths over Omega Perfume.
He won his third G1 (Jpn1) race.
In addition, the JBC that year was held at JRA’s Kyoto Racecourse, instead of at NAR’s racetrack as in previous years.
It was his first victory in a JRA grade race.
  • In the Champions Cup (2018), he was the 2nd favorite, but finished a disappointing 11th.
After the race, Yuichi Fukunaga commented, “(The horse was) concerned about the sun in the west in the homestretch.
Because of his comment, he was yelled at derisively at the racetrack at the racetrack, and some people on the Internet also made fun of his comment.
He later said, “I thought it was interesting that a horse would be concerned about the sun in the west, and I told him, but he made fun of my comment, which made me uncomfortable,” and went on to describe the difficulty of raising information by jockeys.
  • He was invited to the 2019 Dubai World Cup but developed colic the day before the race, which prevented him from running.
He then developed intestinal sprain and underwent emergency surgery.
  • In the February Stakes (2020), he was the lowest favorite due to his recent poor performance, among other reasons.
He finished 2nd, although he was 2+1/2 lengths behind Mozu Ascot.
  • He retired and became a stallion in March 2022.
