Her name

  • Her owner is Kazuko Yoshida, wife of Zenya Yoshida, the founder of Shadai Farm.
    She was named in the hope that the kisses would reach her sire, Admire Vega, and dam-sire, Northern Taste, in heaven.
    ///
    Admire Vega was born at Northern Farm, a member of Shadai Group, and was expected to be a stallion, but he died early in 2004.
    Northern Taste was very successful as a stallion, rapidly growing Shadai Group, and was treated with great care as the Shadai Group’s most meritorious horse, but he died in 2004 at the age of 33.
