In 2013 (age 2), he broke the two-years-old course record in his debut race.
In 2014 (age 3), he couldn’t win due to backache.
In 2015 (age 4), he aroused his abilities.
He won all the races in 2015.
In the Load Derby Challenge Trophy, he was late to start.
He was easy to win by 3.5 lengths and broke the race record.
He showed his great finishing kick.
In the Yasuda Kinen (2015), he took the lead 300m before the finish-line and won.
It was his first G1 win.
In the Mile Championship, he won by 1+1/4 lengths.
In the Hong Kong Mile, he was the 2nd favorite.
The Hong Kong mile champion, Able Friend, was 1st favorite.
Able Friend overtook Maurice in the home stretch.
But Maurice overtook Able Friend and won.
In the Champions Mile, he was easy to win.
He won his second G1 race of Hong Kong.
In the Yasuda Kinen (2016), of course he was the most favorite.
Logotype was a front runner and ran slowly.
Logotype did not run out of stamina because he ran well.
Maurice finished in 2nd place.
After the Yasuda Kinen, his connections decided to try the 2000m race.
His connections have set the Tenno Sho (Autumn) as their target.
In the Sapporo Kinen, he lost by 2 lengths.
In the Tenno Sho (Autumn), he won by 1+1/2 lengths.
He won the 2000m G1 race.
After the race, his connections decided to the next race would be the Hong Kong Cup instead of the Hong Kong Mile.
In the Hong Kong Cup, it was a last race for him.
He was easy to win by 3 lengths.

As a sire

He is a very promising stallion for Katsumi Yoshida of Northern Farm.
His crops have been running well since the summer of their third year.
Pixie Knight won the Sprinters Stakes (2021).
With this victory, the sire line of Grass Wonder – Screen Hero – Maurice – Pixie Knight became the first sire line in Japan to win G1 races with four generations of sires and foals.
He has done well in Japan but has done very well as a stallion in Australia.
Hitotsu, a foal produced when he went to Australia as a shuttle stallion, won the Victoria Derby (2021), a G1 race in Australia.
Geraldina, a foal by him and Gentildonna, won the Queen Elizabeth Cup in 2022.
Jack d’Or won the Osaka Hai (2023).
