Seeking the Pearl was 2nd favorite. (×10.5)
In the Home Stretch, Meiner Love lined up beside Taiki Shuttle and fought him hard.

Evaluation of him
- His owner, Mr. Okada, the president of the Thoroughbred Club Ruffian, thought that he was a horse that could be a target for the Kentucky Derby.
- He had a lot of second place finishes due to his temperament.
Especially in his later years, he had a very rough temperament and inconsistent performance.
In addition to that, the horses born in 1995 are known as “the Strongest Generation”.
His competitors of the same age were strong.
As a stallion
- He didn’t produce any G1 winners, but he was in demand as a stallion who sired consistent crops.
- His crops were reputed to grow up fast, as they moved with good sense from an early age.
