Tenno Sho (Spring) (G1) 12 1     E
  • In 2016 (age 3), he won the Arlington Cup.
He went on to finish 3rd in the NHK Mile Cup, a short distance G1 race, and 2nd in the Kikuka Sho, a long distance G1 race.
  • In 2017 (age 4), he ran in five major G1 races for older horses, with his best result being a 3rd-place finish in the Tenno Sho (Autumn).
  • In the Hanshin Daishoten, he was the 3rd favorite.
    He won by 1+1/4 lengths.
He won for the first time in two years since the Arlington lap.
  • In the Tenno Sho (Spring),  he was the 2nd favorite.
The 1st favorite, Cheval Grand, took the lead early around the final turn.
Rainbow Line tenaciously followed Cheval Grand and overtook him before the finish line to win by a neck.
It was his first G1 win.
Soon after the race, the jockey felt something was wrong with his gait and dismounted.
He was carried in a cart.
He then underwent a thorough examination on May 2 and was followed up, but retired on June 6 to become a stallion.
