  • She debuted in January 2010 and won two in a row.
    In the third race, the Flower Cup, she finished 3rd and thus gave up running for the Oka Sho.
  • In the Flora Stakes, she was the 1st favorite and won by a length.
    She won her first grade race and earned the right to run in the Oaks.
  • In the Yushun Himba (Japanese Oaks), she was the 5th favorite.
    In the home stretch, Saint Emilion and Apapane overtook the leading horses and continued to race in a dead heat.
    They reached the finish line at the same moment.
    As a result of the photo finish, it was the first time in the history of JRA’s G1 race that the first place was a tie.
    It was the first G1 win for Saint Emilion, and the first G1 win for Zenno Rob Roy crop.

    Her partner, the jockey Norihiro Yokoyama, was suspended.
    She hit her head in the starting gate, became unmotivated and finished last.
    Apapane won the race and became the Triple Crown filly.
