- Satono Aladdin won his debut race in 2013.
He picked up his second and third wins in 2014, and his fourth and fifth wins in 2015.
During that time he also ran in a number of graded races, but did not win any.
(In the meantime, his sister Lachesis finished 2nd in the 2013 Queen Elizabeth Ⅱ Cup and 1st in the 2014 Queen Elizabeth Ⅱ Cup.) - In the Keio Hai Spring Cup (2016), he was the 3rd favorite.
He broke the race record to win the race.
He finally won his first graded race at age five. - In the Yasuda Kinen (2017), he was the 7th favorite.
As in the previous year’s Yasuda Kinen, Logotype was in the lead and tenaciously held on to his position.
Satono Aladdin came from the back of the pack and overtook Logotype just before the finish line to take 1st place.
It was his first G1 win. - He retired in 2017 and became a stallion in 2018.
As a sire
- His foals are currently not doing well in Japan, and from 2023, he will be removed from Shadai Stallion Station and move his activities to Breeders Stallion Station.
- However, he also worked as a shuttle stallion in New Zealand, and his foals from that time are beginning to do well in New Zealand and Australia.
His reputation is apparently growing in New Zealand.
Horses named Pennyweka and Tokyo Tycoon have won G1 races in New Zealand.
(However, a positive chemical reaction was detected in Tokyo Tycoon, which was not in accordance with the regulations.) - He may possibly settle in New Zealand or Australia in the near future, partly due to the fact that his sire, Deep Impact, and his damsire, Storm Cat, are common pedigrees in Japan.
