  • In the Hopeful Stakes, he was 1st favorite.
    He won by a 1+1/2 lengths without ever being hit by a stick.
    It was his first G1 win.
  • In the Satsuki Sho, the first classic race, he was 1st favorite.
    He finished 1st and Velox finished 2nd.
    On the home stretch, he bumped into Velox, and he was deliberated for narrowing Velox’s path.    (Patrol Video)
    After deliberation, he was not demoted.
    He had won the first crown undefeated, and was now expected to win the second crown undefeated and the third crown even beyond that.
  • In the Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby), the second classic race, he was 1st favorite.
    He was so excited before the race started that he was late coming out of the gate.
    He finished 4th.
    The winner was Roger Barows, from the same stable as him.
    In an interview with the winning trainer, Katsuhiko Sumii did not smile and said he had “mixed feelings.
  • In the Kobe Shimbun Hai, he won easily by 3 lengths defeating Velox and World Premier.
  • In the Tenno Sho (autumn), he was 2nd favorite.
    It was a high-profile showdown with Almond Eye, who had the same sire as him.
    But he finished 6th.
  • In the Arima Kinen, he lost to Lys Gracieux, but finished 2nd.
  • In 2020 (age 4), after running two races in the spring season, his foot was not in good condition and he took a rest.
    He ended up retiring in January of 2021 because of the bad condition of his leg.
