  • She made a late debut, but won two races in a row and ran in the Hochi Hai Yonsai Himba Tokubetsu, the trial race for Oka Sho.
She finished 2nd in that race and earned the right to run for Oka Sho.
  • In the Oka Sho, she was 3rd favorite.
She came from the back of the pack, but could not catch up with Cheers Grace and finished 3rd.
  • In the Yushun Himba (Japanese Oaks), she was 1st favorite.
She was behind Cheers Grace as they passed the last corner, but she made a great move and took the lead early.
Cheers Grace ran free, and it did not go smoothly.
Silk Prima Donna by a neck over Cheers Grace in 2nd place.
It was her first G1 win.
  • She retired without winning a single game after that.

As a broodmare

  • Her birthplace, Hayata Farm, had gone bankrupt, so she worked as a broodmare at Northern Farm.
Her crops have done reasonably well, but she hasn’t really lived up to expectations as a broodmare.
  • There is one interesting horse in her crops.
This is her fourth crop with Agnes Tachyon.
He never raced, but worked as a stallion in Denmark under the name Devil’s Drink.
Devil’s Drink’s crop, a horse named Muteki, won a major Swedish race, the Svenskt St Leger, in 2017.
