  • In the Tulip Sho, Still in Love was 1st favorite.
    She lost to Osumi Haruka because she had no way to go in the home stretch.
    Of course, the race was a trial race, so maybe she didn’t overdo it.
  • In the Oka Sho, the first classic race, she was 2nd favorite.
    (Her odds were the same as Admire Groove, but Admire Groove’s approval rating was higher than Still in Love’s.)
    She took the lead early and won by 1+1/4 lengths.
    (2nd: She is Tosho, 3rd: Admire Groove)
    It was a first G1 win for her and her jockey Hideaki Miyuki.
  • In the Yushu Himba (Japanese Oaks), the second classic race, she was 2nd favorite.
    //
    (Admire Groove was 1st favorite because she is a first crop of Air Groove who is very popular horse.
    In addition, her jockey was Yutaka Take, a popular jockey who also had ridden on her dam.
    Moreover, if she would win, she would become a Oaks horse for three generations of dams and crops.)
    //
    Still in Love overtook 8 horse in the home stretch and won.
    She became a Double Crown filly.
  • In the Kansai TV Rose Stakes, she was 1st favorite.
    But she lost to Admire Groove and finished in 5th place.
  • In the Shuka Sho, the last classic race, she was 2nd favorite because she was defeated at the previous race.
    (Admire Groove was 1st favorite.
    Admire Groove was the most favorite in all three classic races.)

    Still in Love showed a good run and won.
    She became a Triple Crown filly without ever becoming 1st favorite in classic races.
    It was been 17 years since Mejiro Ramonu’s achievement.
    (When Mejiro Ramonu achieved it, there was no Shuka Sho and the third classic race was the Queen Elizabeth II Cup.)
  • After that she could not win.
    In the Queen Elizabeth II Cup (2003), she lost to Admire Groove by a nose.
