    It is often said that the JRA jockeys, especially the cronies of Wonder Perfume’s jockey, Seiki Tabara, colluded to surround Raiden Leader.
    Wonder Perfume broke away from the pack of horses smoothly and won by a neck.
    She broke the race record.
    It was her first G1 win.
    Dance Partner (No.17) finished 2nd after a slow starting and coming from the back of the pack, while Prime Stage (No.13), a daughter of Dyna Actress, finished 3rd and Raiden Leader (No.6) finished 4th.

    Before the race, it was predicted that the race would be too long for her, but she ran well and finished 3rd.
